About
Manola Maintenance is a reliability and maintenance consultancy based in Falkirk, Scotland. We are a small team of engineers on purpose: the people who scope your project are the people who walk your plant and sign off the data.
Our team
The practice grew out of marine engineering, where equipment has to keep running far from shore and a wrong record has real consequences. That shapes how we work: decisions rest on evidence, unknowns are labelled rather than guessed, and the data has to stand up to an audit.
Between us we have set up and cleaned up maintenance systems in SAP PM, IBM Maximo, MaintMaster, AMOS and Brightly, and we run FMECA and maintenance strategy work on client projects in the UK, Europe and the US.
On site
Walkdowns are done by the team together, capturing at the same time across an area, so a large plant can be covered in days without the same item being recorded twice. The engineers who capture the data are the ones who build the hierarchy and the FMECA from it.
Our tools
We build our own tools for field capture, nameplate reading, hierarchy building and CMMS exports. They exist to make our engineers faster and more consistent. You receive the data, not a software subscription.

Start with one area
Most clients begin with a single line or system: register, criticality and FMECA for that scope. It shows you how we work before you commit to the rest of the site.
