A pump is a pump whether it sits on a vessel or in a polymer plant, so the method stays the same. What changes is the regulator, the system you record it in, and the failure modes that matter most.
Marine and offshore
Commercial vessels, offshore installations, superyachts and subsea equipment.
Our core background is marine engineering, where an unplanned failure can leave a vessel stood still. We know the difference between a planned maintenance system set up to pass a Class survey and one the crew actually trusts.
- PMS component structures built on SFI or your fleet coding, aligned to ISO 14224 classes
- Criticality to NORSOK Z-008, with safety-critical equipment flagged
- Planned maintenance that meets Flag and Class expectations, kept apart from condition-based tasks
- Fleet-wide standard descriptions so spares and history compare across sister vessels
- Data loads for AMOS and shore-side CMMS platforms
Chemicals and process
Specialty chemicals, polymers, coatings and site utilities.
Process sites tend to carry decades of CMMS history in which equipment was renamed, moved and duplicated. We rebuild the hierarchy against the P&IDs and the plant itself, reconcile it with what is already in SAP or Maximo, and only then move on to criticality and FMECA.
- SAP PM functional locations and equipment, including superior equipment and positions
- FMECA on production lines using the site's own risk rubric
- Utilities: steam and boilers, compressed air, cooling water, thermal oxidisers, effluent
- Statutory inspection on a separate, auditable register
Other sectors
Recent and past work outside our two main sectors.
Manufacturing and aerospace
Production lines, test facilities and plant services, where a clean register is the starting point for OEE and PM review.
Wind and renewables
Asset data for generation sites, structured so failure history compares across turbines and sites.
Energy from waste
Grates, fans, boilers and conveyors, where corrosion and erosion dominate the failure modes.
Food, drink and distilling
From malt intake to cask handling, with hygiene and statutory items kept clearly labelled.
Start with one area
Most clients begin with a single line or system: register, criticality and FMECA for that scope. It shows you how we work before you commit to the rest of the site.
